Final Fantasy 2 Walkthrough
After you finish the beginning Cinema Scene, you must take Cecil and Kain and go 
through the forests outside of Castle Baron. When you fight Eagles, you will get 
VERY valuable Life Potions. Then, you go North-West to the Cave of Mist. Fight 
the Mist Dragon (don't attack when it's mist). Then, Un-Equip Kain's 
Weapons/Armor and Save before you enter the Village of Mist. You will lose Kain 
in the town, and gain Rydia. When in the Desert, go to the center of the desert, 
to Kaipo. Sleep, and defend Rydia when the guards attack. Rydia will thank you, 
and join your party. Look in the small house at the Upper-Right hand corner of 
the town to find Rosa. Build Rydia's levels before continuing to the North-East 
to the Cave. In the cave, you'll get Tellah, and eventually, you'll reach a 
saving point. After the saving point, enter the water, and go left, until you 
find a secret entrance in a waterfall. There's goodies inside. Then continue out 
of the cave, and fight Octomamm. Use Fight with Cecil, -Lit 1 with Tellah, and 
-Chocb with Rydia. When you exit the cave, you'll be at Damcyan Castle, and it 
gets bombed by Baron. Un_equip Tellah, you'll lose him. Enter, and search for 
treasure (outside the castle, on the right side), and find Edward. He'll join 
you. By the way, he sucks. He's no good for anything. I suggest you kill him, so 
he won't be a nuisance. Go the the cave Antlion, (get in the Hovercraft, and go 
across the rocks to the East). Find the Antlion, and kill him by fighting with 
Cecil, Chocb with Rydia, and anything with Edward. Now, get the Sand Ruby and 
take it to Rosa. She will join your party too. Take Rydia to the East of the 
Cave Antlion, to the Mts. She will cast fire, and learn the spell. Follow the 
path, and you'll find Yang. Help Yang defeat the Bomb Guys, and he'll join you. 
Help him defend his Castle, but Un-Equip the two girls before-hand. You won't 
need them. You'll lose Rosa anyway. You will need to talk to the King after the 
fight, so you can use the ship. Leviatan will attack, and you'll all get tossed 
overboard. Cecil will wake up, and can go to the town to the East. Buy all 
Paladin stuff, and talk to the priest. He'll assign two wizards to spy on you, 
and *guide * you through Mt. Ordeals. Take them with you, and you'll meet Tellah 
again in Mt. Ordeals. Save before you cross the bridge, and fight Milon. Use 
*Twin* with the twins to get rid of all the little zombie guys, and fight Milon 
with Cecil. Then cast Fire2 with Palom, and Cure2 (on all your party) with 
Porom. He's Easy! Save afterward, and go across the bridge again. You have to 
fight Milon again, so be ready. Do the same stuff with everyone, and you'll kill 
him pretty easily. Now Un-Equip all Cecil's stuff, and enter the room across the 
bridge. DON'T ATTACK YOUR IMAGE! Use Cover on yourself, and you'll win. Leave 
and save. Equip Cecil with Paladin stuff. Tellah knows all the Magic spells, but 
you can't use Meteo, cause Tellah never gains any magic points. It will come in 
handy though. Go back to Mysidia, (there's a chocobo forest south of Mt. 
Ordeals, use it to get back to Mysidia easily). Now you can use the Serpent Road 
to get back to Baron, and find Yang in the inn. Kill him, and he'll join you. 
Now you can enter the castle through the door at the left of the city. Look for 
a secret passage in that room. Also, look for the Ancient sword, at the right 
side of the room with the last saving spot. Then leave the cave, and go into 
Castle Baron. You'll have to defeat Baigan. You will only be able to cast 1 
spell on Baigan, then he will use wall on his body. Use the Virus spell. Then 
use Brsrk on Cecil and Yang. Heal your Party members, and attack Baigan's body. 
He'll die soon. Next, you will have to fight Kainazzo. Un-Equip anything you 
don't need from Palom/Porom, you lose them after Kainazzo. Use thunder Claws if 
you have them, Cast Lit3 with Tellah, and Lit2 with Palom. Again, cast Brsrk on 
Cecil/Yang. After Kainazzo, Cid will give you an airship, and join your crew. 
Here is the worst part of the game. You must buy the best Non-Metal 
Armor/Weapons, and go to Toroia. Talk to Edward in Toroia, and he'll give you 
-TwinHarp. Walk North of Toroia, to the circular forest, and get a black 
Chocobo. Fly a little to the East, into a forest valley, containing a cave. 
Equip all the Non-Metal stuff, because if you have anything metal, you'll be 
stunned. (Yang's Claws aren't metal). Find the Dark Elf, and let him kill you. 
Then Equip the metal stuff you have, and kill him. When he turns into a snake, 
use Weak, and he'll die. Now, go to Toroia, get the treasures, and then go into 
your airship, and to the Tower of Zot. Get all the stuff, and work until you 
find the Magus Sisters. Kill the fat one first, then use strong magic on the 
other two. When they're dead, Un-Equip Tellah, and save your game. Tellah will 
kill Golbez (even if Tellah is dead), and you'll get Kain back. Then you'll find 
Rosa. Equip her with Tellah's things, and fight Valvalis. She's tough, but easy 
if you: Jump with Kain, use Slow, and Cure spells with Rosa, (also Brsrk Yang 
and Cecil). Cid can do whatever, he's not very effective against Valvalis. After 
she's dead, go South of Baron to the old, run-down castle. Some of the enemies 
are really hard, but they are in treasure chests. You won't hit any by walking. 
Now go East of Mysidia, to the Island with one city, one mountain, and a round 
forest. Un-Equip Cid, and Use the Magma Key in the well in the center of the 
city. Fly the airship into the hole, and watch the war. When you land, save, and 
go into the castle. Then talk to the king. Cid will leave, and you'll fight the 
Cal Brena. They're not too hard, but they aren't easy. After the Cal Brena, 
you'll fight Golbez. Kain MUST Jump. Everyone else will die, except Cecil, and 
Kain. Rydia will save you, and she will help you kill Golbez. Now buy all the 
best equip ment AFTER you search the castle for treasure. Save your game outside 
the back entrance to the castle. Make your way to the Tower of Bab-Il, and save 
your game. Go in, and climb to the top of the tower. Don't miss the Earth 
Hammer, and the Wizard Robe. Save when you can, and continue till you reach Dr. 
Lugae and his Robot. Do the usual. Use Virus with Rydia, Cast Brsrk on Cecil and 
Yang. Jump with Kain, and you should beat him soon. Then retrace your steps, 
until you reach the cannon room. Un-equip Yang before entering, because you'll 
lose him. Now you'll be taken above ground. Go to Castle Baron to talk to Cid's 
helpers. Now get the Hovercraft, (push A above it) and go to Castle Eblan. It is 
the destroyed Castle just South of Castle Baron. Drop the Hovercraft, land the 
airship, and go into the cave to the west of Castle Eblan. Find the Remains of 
the citizens of Eblan, and then find the Prince. Edge (the prince) will help you 
find a way into the Tower of Bab-il. Fight your way to the top again, and fight 
Edge's Parents. They're easy. Now fight Rubicant. Use Ice Spells. He's not too 
hard. Don't miss the chest with 82000 GP!!!! Now you will find another airship 
and you'll have to go to the Dwarf Castle, and find Cid in the Hospital. He'll 
fix the ship to fly over lava, then talk to the king. You can now enter the 
sealed cave. Watch out for trap doors. Find the crystal, and get ready to attack 
the Demon's Wall. Rydia Casts Virus, Rosa Casts Slow, (and Brsrk on Cecil) Jump 
with Kain, and Throw useless weapons with Edge. When you get to the surface 
again, go see Yang's wife. Then go to Sylph Cave. Find Yang, and wake him up 
with the pan. Go back to Yang's wife, then back to Yang. Repeat this until you 
get the Silver Spoon. Throw this at any enemy for 9999 dmg. You only get to 
throw it once, so use it wisely. Now go to The land of summoned Monsters. In the 
Town you can find the Rat tail. Take the tail to the Trader East of Silvera. 
You'll need the hovercraft again. The trader will give you Adamant. Take it to 
the Balcksmith SouthEast of Dwarf Castle. Now, in the Overworld, got back to 
baron Castle. You should be powerful enough to beat Odin in the Basement of the 
castle. Rydia can now call him. If you've beaten Asura and Leviatan, you can go 
to Mysidia and get the Big Whale. It is a ship that will carry you to the moon. 
At the moon, find your way to the Blue Castle that you see, and talk to Fusoya. 
He'll join you, and help you out. Now find Bahamut's Cave on the Moon. Find 
Bahamut, and Cast Wall on as many people as you can before he casts MegaNuke. 
Then start attacking. If you beat him, he'll let Rydia call him. Now go back to 
Eart, and enter the Giant. Find the Save spot near the end, and defeat the four 
fiends. Save it again, and defeat the Main System. Defeat the bottom little one, 
then the big one, then the top one. Now you'll lose Fusoya, and you must go to 
the moon. Go to Fusoya's room, and you'll be transported to the center of the 
moon. To the left and right you'll find the Murasame for Edge, the Life Staff 
for Rosa, and some Armor. After you've explored the left path and the right 
path, go down.
In the center of the moon, you'll find:
Dragoon Armor and Spear
Crystal Armor and Sword
White Spear
Masmune
Stardust Rod
Flame Whip
Dragon Whip
And more...
When you reach the very center, you'll see Golbez and Fusoya. They'll fight 
Zemu, then Zeromus. They'll die, and then you get the Crystal. Use it on 
Zeromus. Then cast White with Rosa, Nuke or Bahamut with Rydia, Jump with Kain, 
Fight with Cecil and Dart with Edge. He will die eventually. Have fun watching 
the end Cinema Scene.
